After a recent Corps Commanders Conference (CCC), there was a series of tweets by the Army’s information wing concerning the content of the discussion. Among the topics discussed were locusts, Covid-19, and regional situations and operations. Also discussed were the violations across the Line of Control (LOC) by India and the conditions in Kashmir. Afghanistan also featured heavily in the CCC talks, its security situation and its relative peace and stability were discussed.

“COAS stressed upon the need to enhance combat readiness levels in the wake of evolving strategic and regional milieu. Fifth generation warfare and hybrid application by anti-Pakistan elements against Pakistan’s vital interests must be safeguarded in synchronisation with government policies, COAS reiterated,” a tweet by the director-general of the Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Babar Iftikhar read. The army chief “appreciated high state of morale in the army and directed commanders to ensure welfare of troops during prolonged/extensive operational and internal security deployments.” Overall the “Forum expressed satisfaction over positive developments/indicators in all domains and improved security situation across the country.”
