Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar while taking a delegation full of foreign diplomats to the Line of Control (LOC) said, “The threat of a full-scale war between India and Pakistan exists as such instances have been witnessed during the past and its main reason is India’s belligerence and preparations.” He further spoke about the many ceasefire violations committed by India and in turn Pakistan’s admirable restraint when met with such foolhardy behavior. The need to make India aware of the precarious nature of the balance between the two nuclear armed neighbors requires international input as per ISPR.

“That needs to be stopped and for this to stop, international community has to come in,” He said about the frequent ceasefire violations and aggressive behavior by Indian military on the Line of Control. “It’s been a massive escalation as far as ceasefire violations are concerned and as far as their lethality is concerned,” he added. Rejecting Indian claims of infiltration attempt he pointed out the strident anti infiltration measures taken by both sides.
